Silvio Berlusconi passed away at the age of 86 on Monday and his funeral was held on Wednesday. Many have since praised the Italian for his work with AC Milan, including this week’s front page of Sportweek.
Berlusconi spent 31 years as the president of Milan and managed to win 29 major trophies in the process. As such, he’s the most successful president in club football and many will remember him for that.
On the front page of Sportweek, the weekly edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, Silvio Berlusconi got all of the focus and rightly so: “The innovator: Silvio Berlusconi, 1936-2023. In 31 years and with 29 trophies, he made history at #ACMilan and changed football.”
