Rafael Leao is expected to sign his renewal with AC Milan today and it’s not exactly a surprise that Gazzetta Dello Sport focused on him on the front page this morning.
The winger has reached an agreement with Milan until 2028 and the deal will be announced later today. After months of negotiating, therefore, the parties just reached the finish line and now just need to cross it.
On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following about the renewal and the potential number change: “Leao renews with Milan and wants the mythical No.10 shirt. The announcement is expected today, contract until 2028.”

And tbh i thought he would want no 7 since he’s from portugal, and maybe he wanted to be like cr7, idk it’s not that important as long as he perform at the highest level.
Regarding the renewal, i hope it’s a sign that milan able to convince leao that they’ll do better in transfer market to be able to compete better next season
