Alvaro Morata is just an official announcement away from joining Galatasaray on an initial loan deal. Earlier today, he arrived in Istanbul and just a few minutes ago, he published a message for the AC Milan fans on Instagram.
Following the signing of Santiago Gimenez, who completed his medical earlier today, Milan agreed to part ways with Morata. The Spaniard landed in Istanbul earlier today and looked very happy as he greeted his new fans, joining Galatasaray on an initial loan deal.
On his Instagram story, Morata published a message for the Milan fans as his departure is all but official: “Thank you for giving me the chance to wear this shirt. Milan is an incredible club and even more so the people who work there. Thank you all 🙏🏼❤️”

Grazie Alvaro
Maybe the worst striker i have seen in Milan these past years
He is not ,no striker can flourish in milan right now ,watch out for Gimenez ,he wud struggle with the mentality of players around him ,leao ,pulisic ,tijjanni and co …these players do not know the meaning of supplying a striker with balls …milan do not have team work we just have individuals playing together like enemies in thesame team
Started watching Milan this season I take it?
do u forget origi?
Morata better than Torres, Vieri even Sheva 2nd
You have only seen Milan for 2 years then
Its always you young kids going ‘omg worst Milan ever’
“Maybe the worst striker i have seen in Milan these past years”
LOL. Not even worst in this current squad. 😀 😀 😀
Worst striker. He was always out of his position trying to control other players. Thank Goodness he’s gone!
At least when Milan wanted to sign another striker and asked Morata to leave, He didn’t create drama and didn’t stay to take his massive salary like Origi. Respect to Morata for going to Galatasaray just so Milan can bring another player.
Glad he leaves on good terms. Thank you Mr Morata. All the best to you as you never got the tactical service to put it in the back of the net.
Good luck morata. You are not the problem. If you stay, this milan will be stronger. But your big salary make management kick you out.
Furlani: “we want to keep profitable, that’s why we kick morata out after gimenez come”
Wish him all the best, class player and disappointed it didn’t work out, I certainly don’t hold that against him.
I wish him the best. While things weren’t always ideal, I still wish him the best in his next venture.
A good leader, but Milan can’t afford to pay him a large salary in return for 0.31 Non-penalty XG a game. Strikers have to get into scoring positions, and Morata wasn’t able to do that for Milan.
