Photos: Brahim Diaz returns to training but Rebic continues individual work

The AC Milan squad did not have much time to enjoy the 1-0 win against Torino at San Siro last night as preparations for the Roma game have begun.

The official website confirms that the players involved in yesterday’s game did some light recovery work while the rest of the squad did some work on muscle activation before doing some drills out on the field, and the session concluded with a game on a smaller pitch.

MilanNews reports that Rebic trained on his own again but the hope is to have him available for the trip to the capital. Brahim Diaz was back in training having now tested negative for Covid-19.

      1. Rebic would also be good there when Brahim is out, I’m surprised he hasn’t played a single match in that position. Haller-Jovic and Rebic behind them was a deadly trio, he can play that position, he isn’t a playmaker of course, or an attacking midfielder and but his runs would create more problems then Krunic’s style, especially with Ibra/Giroud up front. Hope to see that once as I’ve watched him regularly that season and he was phenomenal playing behind 2 players that are “18 yard box players”.

    1. Tatruasanu was actually quite good. Ballo Toure also did good in the previous match, but he got injured for this one. Diaz is the biggest issue, we need Isco or someone else so we don’t have a problem when 1 player is injured. I really hope it isn’t Luis Alberto as he isn’t at all similar to Diaz and we have been playing better with an attacking midfielder that beats players and runs into the box compared to a playmaker AMC like Calha.
