AC Milan secured a crucial win away at Lazio night after a dramatic ending to the game. Noah Okafor was the big hero with the 88th-minute winner, scoring off the bench yet again. Understandably so, the Rossoneri were pleased with the win.
It was far from a brilliant performance from Stefano Pioli’s, but after three consecutive games with a win, getting the three points was all that mattered. Okafor got the chance off the bench amid Luka Jovic’s suspension and he didn’t disappoint, taking his goal tally up to five for the season.
Four of these goals have come after not starting the game, just like for Jovic, and they are the best in Serie A off the bench along with Lautaro Martinez. The Milan fans are right to ask more from the team though, as it really didn’t look good at times yesterday.
