AC Milan will enter the final week ahead of the international break tomorrow and it’s an important one. On Wednesday, they will take on Borussia Dortmund and on Saturday, they will face Genoa.
Both games are away from home and will be very important for the Rossoneri. After the draw against Newcastle in the UCL opener, Stefano Pioli and his men will have to claim all three points or at the very least not lose against the German side.
The clash against Genoa might not be as important, given the start to the season in the league, but all points are important in the race against Inter. Furthermore, they will want to head into the international break with a good feeling.
Pioli admitted last night that playing every three days is far from easy and thanked his players for their commitment. Next week, a final push will be needed to see a difficult period over the line. So far, the results have been positive and they will want to keep that up.
