CorSport: Pioli is banking on keeping Diaz at Milan whilst the club eye up a new signing

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli wants Brahim Diaz’s spell at the club to be made permanent and the cub are plotting a move for a new attacker, a report claims.

It has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) that Pioli would like Diaz’s loan move from Real Madrid to be made permanent this summer as he sees him as an important part of the team, despite a recent dip in form.

The club meanwhile are looking at signing Noa Lang from Club Brugge as the Dutch forward has been impressing many teams across Europe.

He is capable of playing anywhere across the front three but he would likely be a backup to Rafael Leao who can challenge the Portuguese for his spot on the left.

Pioli is also a fan of Lang and the Italian coach wants to sign him and confirm that Diaz will be staying next season as well.

  1. Recent dip in form ?

Other than 1 month, when did Diaz have form ? With Adli and possibly Lang coming in, Diaz can go.
