It looks as if AC Milan’s midfield depth has taken a bit of a hit ahead of tomorrow’s trip to face Liverpool at Anfield.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, both Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic were not involved in today’s final training session before the squad depart for England. The two midfielders are struggling with their respective injuries, and will not take part in the game at Anfield.
The same source also reported that Sandro Tonali did not take part in training either had some intestinal problems during the night and therefore he was on the sidelines but was not training. There is no alarm however, as he is expected to be available for the game against Liverpool.
What it does mean though is that Pioli’s selection headache may have solves itself, as Kessie and Bennacer were the only ones to take part in today’s session as planned.
