AC Milan have a plan to give Charles De Ketelaere some minutes of the final two friendly matches of the summer, according to a report.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports how Milan fans will see De Ketelaere in the Rossoneri shirt for the first time against Vicenza in tonight’s friendly. The current plan is for Stefano Pioli to send him on the pitch for the last quarter of an hour of the match.
The 21-year-old only started training with Milan on Wednesday so he will obviously need some time to get up to speed in terms of condition and also with Pioli’s tactical mechanisms, but the plan is that he will have more minutes in Sunday’s game at Milanello against Pergolettese.
Then, it remains to be seen if Pioli is satisfied enough to allow him to make his full debut one week from today against Udinese in the first league game of the season at San Siro.
There is a reason why such a match is called friendly. Why don’t we try him for the whole game? Why don’t we test Adli in CDM position? We should start with Popega and test him.
Cause we can’t field an already subtituted players back to the pitch. There are spectators, so law of the game is followed.
Maybe it can be done against Pergottelese as it seems to be without spectator.
But I’m sure Pioli tested it in training though. There was a video of crossing drill where CDK made crosses from LW position.
