His flexibility is precious and makes him a perfect match for both Kessie and Bennacer, with his quality and confidence there for all to see.
Moving to the defence, the loss of Simon Kjaer for the rest of the season was a shock, but over time Milan have been able to cope. First Kalulu and Gabbia stepped up admirable, while from Sunday it will be the turn of Romagnoli and Tomori to continue their partnership together with the Englishman back after a knee injury. The spine is in place, and Pioli can smile.
