If AC Milan are to progress into the final eight of the Champions League then they will need their star players to be close to their best, with Theo Hernandez very much on that list.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) recalls the trend that if Theo Hernandez plays well the team too seem to have an extra gear and the French full-back has also been decisive in Europe such as against Red Bull Salzburg who could not cope with his movements.
If Theo is not at his best then it takes away the main creative energy as the team rely so much on the left flank and the presence of two threats so as to ensure Rafael Leao does not get double or even triple teamed.
