GdS: Pioli unwilling to change a winning formula – he will maintain trust in current XI

Just a single point is separating AC Milan from winning the Scudetto, but they will have to be on their A-game against Sassuolo today.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how Milan needs to show the same levels of performance that they have in the last five games. Stefano Pioli has decided to bring the whole squad with him to Sassuolo, including Simon Kjaer who has been absent since a serious knee ligament injury back in December.

Pioli intends to field the same starting line-up who took the field in the victories against Hellas Verona and Atalanta earlier this month. These were games in which the team showed great personality and tactics, but also unpredictability.

For half of the season – that is until January – Pioli has not been able to count on having all of his starters available and his main options off the bench ready to be utilised either, but now he has virtually everyone to be able to call upon.
