PM: Milan reach agreement with centre-back over contract until 2025 – €15m asking price

By Oliver Fisher -

Further confirmations have arrived that AC Milan have agreed personal terms with Mohamed Simakan ahead of a possible January move.

The Rossoneri are desperate to add a new centre-back during the upcoming January window given the current injury crisis, and while the likes of Ozan Kabak and Matteo Lovato continue to be linked, it appears Simakan is the most concrete track.

Yesterday we spoke to journalist Ekrem Konur about the situation, and he confirmed to us that the player has agreed personal terms ahead of a possible move to Milan, with just a fee to be sorted between the teams.

According to PianetaMilan, the management have indeed found an agreement with Simakan over a contract until 30 June 2025. Strasbourg asked for €20m in the summer, but the Alsatian club are battling relegation this season and could lower their demands.

It is speculated in the article that a figure of around €15m could be enough to get a deal done this time around, which stacks up with what we were told.
