Pobega responds to questions on playing time and Milan’s recovery after awful January – video

By Oliver Fisher -

Today was a special day for Tommaso Pobega as he graduated from university and he is present at the 20th anniversary Fondazione Milan dinner tonight.

Pobega graduated in Business Economics and Commerce today and the midfielder actually did a thesis on AC Milan and more specifically the club’s social responsibility, a chapter of which is entirely dedicated to the Milan Foundation, which is being celebrated tonight.

He spoke to the journalists present on the red carpet for the event about his graduation.

Today you graduated, how exciting was it?

“Very different from what I experienced. My parents are very satisfied, they cared a lot and I cared too.”

Have the team recovered after a very complicated January?

“We went back to doing the things we can do better, both from training and then in the match. Was there a need for an extra man in defence? So much is given by attitudes, dedication to work, commitment and desire not to concede a goal.”

Now the Champions League and the league…

“We still have a good part of the season to face in order to score as many points as possible, match by match, so as to get to the end with the satisfaction we want.”

Do you expect more playing time?

“I’m available to the coach every day of training and I await the decisions.”

Do you feel like a positive example for the younger players who come into football?

“I hope I can inspire someone, also for the extra-football path that is often overlooked.”
