Nottingham Forest still hold an interest in AC Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko but no agreement has been found for the move yet, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport this morning (via Milan News), the Premier League side who have already spent around £140 million this summer are keen to make the French midfielder their latest summer signing.
Testament to the fact that Bakayoko is not in the picture under Stefano Pioli, the coach may choose to leave him out of the matchday squad for the game against Atalanta on Sunday even though he is not injured.
That would send a message to the Milan directors that the Frenchman is surplus to requirements and work should be done to give him a new club.
Bakayoko is technically on loan at Milan from Chelsea and this will be the second season of that loan. There is a mandatory redemption for Milan so he is their player to sell.
