MN: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Genoa – Bennacer back in battle of the 4-2-3-1s

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan simply need to get back on track with a win tomorrow night as they welcome relegation-threatened Genoa to San Siro, and some team news has emerged.

On the eve of the match, MilanNews have published what they believe will be the starting line-up that Stefano Pioli goes for, and the defence is unchanged with Mike Maignan having a back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of him.

Sandro Tonali should be accompanied by the returning Ismael Bennacer in the double pivot with Franck Kessie ahead of them as the playmaker. Alexis Saelemaekers is tipped to keep his spot on the right with Rafael Leao on the left and Olivier Giroud the striker.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Kessie, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Genoa XI (4-2-3-1): Sirigu; Hefti, Ostigard, Maksimovic, Vasquez; Sturaro, Badelj; Ekuban, Melegoni, Portanova; Destro.
