Pundit discusses another ‘great opportunity’ missed for Milan: “It’s difficult to understand”

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan failed to bounce back from the 2-2 draw against Salernitana as they registered another draw last night, this time against Udinese. Two more important points dropped, which Luca Serafini has a hard time believing.

The Rossoneri are still first in the league standings, amazingly, as Inter also drew their game yesterday (0-0 vs. Genoa). It’s clear, however, that their rivals won’t drop points forever and Milan need to step it up.

Speaking live on air last night, MilanTV pundit Luca Serafini (via MilanNews) shares his thoughts on the two most recent performances. He stated that it’s hard to understand why Milan are playing this poorly given the situation.

“After two normal weeks [no mid-week clash], another bad and disappointing performance came after the one in Salerno. It is difficult to understand the reasons for this performance. I understand the disappointment of the fans. Udinese did their fair share, in the end, they even could have won it. Milan missed another great opportunity,” he stated.

Milan will face Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-finals on Tuesday and then a crucial clash against Napoli awaits at the weekend. It’s a week that will say a lot about what’s to come for Stefano Pioli and his men.
