Raiola’s declarations rock Milan: “This summer I would like to bring a big signing to Madrid”

The so-called ‘super agent’ Mino Raiola has declared that he wishes to take a top player to Real Madrid during the summer window.

In an interview with Spanish outlet Marca, Raiola spoke about his relationship with Real Madrid, who have always been considered the club closest to Jorge Mendes – arguably his biggest rival.

“My relationship with Real Madrid is very good. I am often in contact with José Angel: he is interesting, it is a pleasure to talk to him about football and events related to FIFA,” he said (via MilanNews).

“One day I hope to bring a great champion to Real. At the moment I have Areola, but it is a loan. This summer I would like to bring a big outright signing to Madrid, it would be a pride for me and for all my players because Real is a great club. ”

Of course this will set some alarm bells ringing inside Casa Milan, as Los Blancos have been linked with a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma repeatedly over the last few months.

The LaLiga giants could look for an upgrade on Thibaut Courtois this summer despite his impressive start to 2020, and if Gigio were to be available on the cheap due to his contract situation then they could pounce.

However it is worth noting that there are a number of players who Raiola’s words could be destined for, above all Paul Pogba whose future at Manchester United appears to be firmly in the balance at present.
