Report claims Real Madrid midfielder has clear priority after rebuffing offer from Milan

AC Milan are one of four clubs who have shown an interest in signing midfielder Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid, according to a report.

According to Fichajes in Spain, Ceballos has gone from being a player that Real Madrid were happy to let go of to being an important part of the squad, so much so that they want to close his renewal in the coming weeks.

The intention of the midfielder is to stay but the interest of other clubs could turn his head, depending on the plans that head coach Carlo Ancelotti has for him. Despite the fact that Ceballos’ priority is to continue at Real Madrid, he could stay in the city and join Atlético Madrid who made an offer, and they are an option that is very appealing to the player.

Then there is Real Betis, who sold Ceballos to Real Madrid but a return to the Estadio Benito Villamarín is constantly touted. The report adds that Milan are keen and ‘have made an offer’ but it has already been rejected by the 26-year-old.

Finally, there is Aston Villa. Like AC Milan , the Premier League club has seen its offer for Ceballos turned down though he remains Unai Emery’s top targets.
