CorSport: Rebic must end goal drought but recent signs are encouraging

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan winger Ante Rebic has been without a goal for some time now but the recent signs are encouraging, according to a report.

As reported this morning by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the last time that Rebic got his name on the scoresheet was back on February 19 when the Croatian came off the bench and equalised against Salernitana with a powerful shot from outside the area.

That particular goal was only the second goal in the league for Rebic after the one at the beginning of the year at the Allianz Stadium and the third in the season if we consider the one that levelled for the Rossoneri at Anfield against Liverpool.

Despite a bit of a goal drought, Rebic’s recent performances against Lazio and Fiorentina when he came off the bench have been more sharp and promising, but Pioli needs his contribution on the scoresheet in the last three matches, starting with the game against Verona on Sunday.
