Some news has emerged from Milanello today regarding how AC Milan are looking in view of Monday’s game against Bologna.
Speaking on Sky (via MilanNews), Peppe Di Stefano began his update by stating that Rebic ‘will certainly play more’ in the final part of the season amid what has been a ‘complicated year’ for him so far.
In his first two seasons at the club he was a bit subdued up until Christmas, while the second half of the season is when he has been decisive in many games.
He may start against Bologna from the first minute in place of Rafael Leao, given he has been at Milanello throughout the international break and looked good off the bench against Cagliari.
Di Stefano adds that the squad trained this morning, then there was a mandatory lunch and the players were able to go home after that, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic instead stayed for an hour and a half after the lunch to do extra work in the gym.
