There is no good news to bring regarding the condition of Ante Rebic as he is likely to sit out the rest of the calendar year, a report claims.
According to il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), the Croatian sustained an injury in the final training session on the day before the game against Fiorentina after attempting a back heel and feeling pain in the hamstring of his right thigh.
As reported by the paper, the Milan forward will return to the field in January after the break for the Christmas holidays, therefore missing the crucial stretch of games that are coming up between now and the break.
It is of course a huge blow to Milan and head coach Stefano Pioli who will now have to ask Rafael Leao to keep working overtimes, or try other solutions such as Brahim Diaz as a winger, Rade Krunic in that rule or a formation change.

This is quite funny. Last season the left wing was overcrowded, this season, we are looking for bail out over there.
Would trying to put Theo on Left-Wing be too risky? He’s got great attack and has fumbled in defense recently. Could Kalulu and Florenzi pair left and right back respectively?
I’ve been saying that for quite some time now. They should do what was done with Gareth Bale who started as a left back and became one of the best left wingers in the world. Theo just isn’t good enough at defending.
