CM.it: Rebic ready for a new opportunity – he is playing for his Milan future

By Oliver Fisher -

Ante Rebic is in line to start against Fiorentina tonight and it seems he is playing for his AC Milan future, according to a report

Calciomercato.it recall how Rebic started the first game of the season against Udinese and scored a brace that suggested he was heading for a very positive season, but since then things have gone downhill due to injury problems and inconsistent performances.

He has now become an almost permanent substitute as he only started the game against Sassuolo in the recent period in what was a disastrous 5-2 defeat, but he should be in the line-up tonight for the match against Fiorentina with Rafael Leao suspended.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri management are seriously evaluating the possibility of selling the Croatian. He will turn 30 on 21 September, has a contract expiring in 2025 and is among the highest paid players in the squad at €3.5m net per season.

An exit in the summer therefore appears increasingly probable, but he has the opportunity to make the club change their mind in the coming weeks.
