AC Milan's Croatian forward Ante Rebic

CorSport: Rebic could be sold by Milan to boost the transfer budget

AC Milan could sell Ante Rebic this summer to give themselves some more firepower in the transfer market, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) today, Rebic is one of the first names that the Rossoneri could sacrifice in order to try and add some more money to the transfer budget.

The Croatian had two very good seasons with Milan but the previous campaign ended with him only managing to score twice and having repeated injury issues.

For that reason, he is not viewed as non-transferable by Milan who have a limited transfer budget this summer. Should they make an attacking signing soon, it is very likely Rebic will be moved on.

Milan are looking at players such as Hakim Ziyech, Marco Asensio and Charles De Ketelaere who all play in a similar position to Rebic but any of those deals would be a big financial outlay.

  1. It would be a mistake to sell Rebic. Rebic is as good as he’s going to get which means he won’t go above Milans level so we’ll be able to keep him long term. He didn’t have the best season last season but i think he’ll come good again.

  2. he did not get off on the front foot last year for whatever reason especially compared to the previous year ,regardless he is an aggressive, strong player who sees the field well and good with back to goal, I would at least keep him and rotate him at LW or CAM.
