“Dinamo are a great opponent as they showed in the first leg. We have analysed them well and we know their weaknesses: I hope we will take the three points and get closer to the target,” he said.
On reaching the knockouts: “It is very important for our work over the last three years. Last year we reached the group stage and this year we want to go one step further and finish in the round of 16.”
On the Champions League: “Another competition with teams playing different football: there is always high quality. It will take hard work but we will do it well.”
On returning to Croatia: “Maksimir is not that hot compared to the Split stadium, but it’s nice to be back in Croatia. The field will certainly be perfect, the stadium a little less… Let’s go there to do our best.”
