MN: Latest on the condition of Tomori, Ibrahimovic and Rebic in view of Inter game

By Oliver Fisher -

There is now only two days until the potentially season-defining game between Inter and AC Milan on Saturday evening, and Stefano Pioli continues to sweat about the condition of some key players.

MilanNews reports how this morning at Milanello, Pioli’s team worked to prepare as best possible in view of Saturday night’s derby at San Siro, which is not quite a ‘must-win’ given the amount of points still available but is certainly a game where the Rossoneri will look to wrestle back some ground in the title race.

The full squad trained as normal apart from three players that followed their own programs. Fikayo Tomori trained partially in a group like yesterday, while Ante Rebic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic instead carried out their own work.

The Croatian did some drills on the field as he attempts to dispose of ankle discomfort, while the Swede was in the gym still battling pain in his tendon.
