AC Milan are looking to tie Tijjani Reijnders down to a new contract soon, especially with his value increasing after more impressive performances.

There have been few players that have been as consistently impressive as Reijnders for Milan this season, and perhaps, this could be extended to Europe. The Dutchman has been superb so far, and there is no sign that this will slow down.

Since joining from AZ Alkmaar last season he has been on a consistently upward path, and the Rossoneri are beaming about his progress. So much so that they are looking to offer him a new deal, which has impressed his entourage.

It is believed that the club are looking to at least double his current wage, in an attempt to protect him from the interest of other clubs. However, if any club is to get the opportunity to purchase him, they are going to have to pay significantly more than Milan did in the summer of 2023.

In fact, Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) now writes that the Dutchman may be worth around €60 million, an affordable fee for some of the interested clubs like Manchester City, but a statement of their value of the player.

Signing the extension is the next step, and with Reijnders looking to extend his stay in Milano, there should be confidence.

  1. Tijjani is good player & very good person..i dont think he will forced his next move unless he forced to do it..money not his priority but he want to always plays, no matter what position..but he is reasonable man, not big ego, few match & a rest/bench are very acceptable

  2. I found another good dutch player. His contract may be left for another year. His name is Guus Til. He plays for PSV. Try to see his style of play.i am serious he is very good in playing AM and CM position

  3. If Tonali sale has taught us anything, it’s that everyone has a price. Reijnders is next level and Milan realize that. So they scramble to renew him now so that it would take an “offer you can’t refuse” to sell him on.

Unless Milan grows with Reijnders, the Flying Dutchman will want to move to a better team with ambitions he can actually challenge for. And I wouldn’t blame him for it.

For all teh flack the RedBird system gets, they have hit the nail on the head with the signings of Puli, Reijnders and Fofana.
