It will be an exciting day at Milanello tomorrow as Tijjani Reijnders is expected to have his first training session with the squad, including the returning internationals.
Speaking live from Milanello for Sky (via RadioRossonera), Peppe Di Stefano took stock of Reijnders’ first day at Milan
The journalist remarked that it was ‘so sunny, so hot’ and there were ‘very few fans’ there at that moment, which is inevitable given the heat.
Milan will leave on Friday for Los Angeles for their tour of the United States where they will play Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona, and Reijnders will be with them.
The Dutchman arrived yesterday evening on a flight about 70 minutes late at Linate airport from Amsterdam, in the company of his wife, father and mother.
This morning he showed up at 09:00 CEST for the medical tests and then he underwent a sports fitness check before going to Casa Milan to sign his contract, and he has chosen the No.14 shirt.
He has always had the No.6, but he knew all too well about the history of that number at Milan and didn’t even bother asking for the shirt because Franco Baresi’s old number has been retired.
He will join the team tomorrow morning for his first training session before a friendly match against Lumezzane on Thursday, then on Friday the team will leave for Los Angeles.
Tomorrow is a very important day because the internationals will return too, namely Rafael leao, Theo Hernandez, Olivier Giroud, Simon Kjaer, Malick Thiaw and Mike Maignan.
Should have chosen 70. Missed opportunity there and marketing 😂😂😂
