Report: Milan enquire about Fiorentina, Lazio stars in meeting with agent

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan enquired about two possible summer signings in Thursday’s meeting with agent Alessandro Lucci, it is claimed.

The Rossoneri met with Lucci at Casa Milan to discuss the futures of two of his clients, namely Suso and Davide Calabria.

The latter is expected to pen a new five-year deal at the club, while the future of the Spaniard is uncertain due to incoming manager Marco Giampaolo’s preference to play without a winger.

A pair of other players were discussed though, according to a tweet from journalist Simone Cristao on Twitter, who cites Radio Rossonera‘s Pietro Prota.

The first is Luis Muriel, the former Sampdoria striker who is currently owned by Sevilla and was loaned to Fiorentina in January of this year.

The Colombia international has a record of 49 goals and 32 assists in 184 Serie A appearances across spells with Lecce, Udinese, Sampdoria and Fiorentina.

The second player enquired about was Lazio’s star forward Joaquin Correa, also formerly of Sevilla.

The Argentine likes to play as a secondary striker which would be ideal in Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2, and he scored five goals and added six assists in 34 Serie A outings this term.
