Report: Arsenal, Man City join Milan and Juventus in race for €70m playmaker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Juventus have been joined by Arsenal and Manchester City in the race for Real Madrid playmaker Isco, a report claims.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claimed last month that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is looking to replace Isco with Suso and was lining up a potential swap deal.

It was claimed that Suso ‘has similar characteristics to Isco’s, but is younger and hungry for success’, while Milan would ‘gladly accept’ a possible exchange.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com though – who cite English newspaper The Sun – there is now interest from England in Isco.

Arsenal and City are both keen on the idea of signing the 27-year-old, who is rated at €70m and has racked up just 185 minutes of competitive action so far this season.

The Spain international has amassed a combined 100 goals and assists in 282 games for Los Blancos since his arrival from Malaga.
