After a slow start to the season, Ismael Bennacer has become a very important player for AC Milan, shining under the guidance of Stefano Pioli. As a result of this, he has attracted the interest of several big clubs, with offers arriving.
According to Calciomercato.it, the Algerian has been on the radars of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City for quite some time now. However, they aren’t alone in the race as Chelsea also are keeping tabs on the former Empoli man.
The Blues would like to find a way to beat the biggest obstacle – Bennacer’s €50m release clause – by inserting technical counterparts in the operation. One of the options that stand out is Jorginho, previously nat Napoli and a constant target of Juventus.
To date, there have only been simple chats through intermediaries and Chelsea haven’t taken any official steps yet. As for Milan, though, the position on the Algerian doesn’t change: he’s considered unsellable.
