Tuttosport: Milan and Frankfurt set for meeting to discuss Rebic-Silva swap – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Since the start of the year, Ante Rebic has been one of AC Milan’s best players with eleven goals in the league, making him the Rossoneri’s top goalscorer. Therefore, the Rossoneri want to keep him on a permanent basis.

The Croatian’s loan will expire in 2021 and according to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), there will be a telephone call between Milan and Frankfurt today. The parties will discuss the swap deal involving Rebic and Andre Silva.

The Rossoneri will also inform the German side that they had a meeting with Fiorentina mid-week, in which agent Fali Ramadani was also present (agent of Rebic and Milenkovic). Why? La Viola have a 50% resale clause in the striker’s contract.

Therefore, the Tuscan side are very interested in cashing in as much as possible. Milan and Frankfurt must find a solution that will satisfy all parties. The will of the player, however, is clear: he wants to remain.
