Report: Chelsea midfielder dreaming of €45m PSG move despite persistent Milan links

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the idea of signing midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea this summer, reports in France claims.

According to Le10Sport though, Bakayoko has become a target for PSG sporting director Leonardo, who is keen to bolster the midfield department in the upcoming window.

Nonetheless, Chelsea have apparently set a £40million (€45m) asking price for the 25-year-old, who is ‘dreaming’ of secure a move back to Paris – the city where he was born and raised and still has many relatives.

Bakayoko spent last season on loan with the Rossoneri, establishing himself as a key player under Gennaro Gattuso, but his departure in addition to the other off-field uncertainties meant that the €35m option to buy was not exercised by Milan.

Links have not stopped though, and Fabrizio Romano recently reported that the Frenchman – who is on loan at Monaco this season – is dreaming of a return to the San Siro one day.

Bakayoko went to meet the Milan players after their 4-2 derby defeat to Inter earlier this year, keen to relive some of his memories at San Siro.
