Report: Liverpool and Real Madrid get green light as €60m star is set to snub Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

Lille star Victor Osimhen is ready to snub a move to AC Milan or Inter in favour of joining an English or Spanish club, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com recently reported that Milan are looking at potential replacements for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and while Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic is the priority, Osimhen is also a player the club are watching.

With 18 goals in 38 games this season, the Nigeria international has replaced Rafael Leao and Nicolas Pepé, who scored 22 goals in the last Ligue 1 before moving to Arsenal.

Osimhen has been dubbed the “new Drogba” as he is a childhood fan of the Ivorian, and it has been suggested he could command a fee of up to €60m this summer with Liverpool and Real Madrid among those linked.

According to Nigerian newspaper The Nation – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Osimhen is ready to snub interest from Lombardia trio AC Milan, Inter and Atalanta.

The forward has made his preference clear: he would like to join a team in the Premier League or in LaLiga.
