Report: Milan join two Serie A rivals in pursuit of €25m Juventus outcast linked with Arsenal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still interested in the idea of a move for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, a report claims, but there is strong competition.

Rugani has been persistently linked with a move to the Rossoneri over the last few months, with Milan seemingly in the market for a new centre-back and the Italian struggling for game time with the Bianconeri.

Sky Italia stated in January that Juventus had put Rugani on the market with an asking price of around €25million, with Arsenal and Leicester at that point also interested.

According to the latest from il Corriere di Torino (via MilanNews), Juve have decided to focus on a centre-back core of Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral for next season, meaning Rugani could leave.

The paper reports that Napoli and Roma have not lost sight of him and that Milan are also in the running for the former Empoli defender, while Arsenal have been linked with a €25m move by reports in England.
