Report: Milan to meet Kessie’s agent in the coming days in bid to close renewal quickly

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping to get midfielder Franck Kessie to sign a renewal in the coming days, according to one journalist.

According to the latest from Nicolo Schira, there is a meeting scheduled between Milan and Frank Kessiè’s agent George Atangana for some time in the next few days that should certainly help to clarify matters.

The renewal of the Ivorian is a priority for the Rossoneri, who want to finalise the deal as soon as possible and do not want to relive a situation like they did with Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, who both ended up leaving for nothing at the conclusion of their contract.

The last offer that was put forward by the management was €5.5m net per year plus bonuses and a three-year extension, therefore a deal that would run until 2025, but it seems to have not been enough to get the approval of the 24-year-old and his agent.
