Sandro Tonali is edging closer to Milan. This, the rumours have gathered a lot of steam and since Inter have withdrawn from the race, the Rossoneri are now in a great position to close the operation.
According to Pietro Balzano Prota on his Twitter, Milan have ‘green lights on all fronts’ in the operation for the Brescia star. Contacts are ongoing with the player’s agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, and the owner of the Serie B side, Massimo Cellino, to close the deal.

Cellino is expected to return to Italy where a meeting with the management will take place. Inter, meanwhile, have put their interest on hold and it doesn’t look like they will re-enter the race for the 20-year-old.
The next 48 hours will be decisive, which means that Milan could complete the signing by Tuesday. After renewing the contract of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Rossoneri are certainly moving fast on the transfer market.
