Report: PSG make player plus cash offer for AC Milan midfielder

By Isak Möller -

The negotiations between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain over Lucas Paquetà have started. The former Rossoneri sporting director, Leonardo, is keen on reuniting with his compatriot in Paris already in January.

Just one year ago, the former Flamengo man was brought to Milan by the same sporting director, who worked for the Rossoneri at the time. The transfer fee amounted to €35m, and Milan don’t want to sell him for anything less.

According to Milanista NonEvoluto’s Alessandro Jacobone, PSG have submitted their first offer for Paqueta: €8m plus the German winger Julian Draxler as a technical counterpart. For the Rossoneri, the transfer fee is most likely too low.

As for the player, the French side have offered him a four and a half year contract worth €3.5m per year plus bonuses. This is almost twice as much as he currently earns, which could encourage him to accept the offer and thus put pressure on Milan.
