Report: Real Madrid ‘fed up’ with playmaker; swap deal with Suso in January is on

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ‘ready to close’ a swap deal with Real Madrid involving Isco and Suso, according to reports in Spain.

Fiorentina were interested in a move for Suso, as La Gazzetta dello Sport reported over the summer, while Roma and Lyon were also linked by a number of different outlets.

Despite this he remained with the Rossoneri, but the Spaniard has struggled for form this season, only managing to register one assist in the opening six games – of which Milan have lost four.

Reports in Spain earlier in the week first floated the idea of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez being interested in the former Liverpool winger.

A possible exchange with Isco was mentioned, and now Il Milanista – who cite Don Balon – has gone one further by suggesting that the swap deal can take place in January.

Both players are having a difficult season, and the Spanish media believe that Real will let Isco leave and take a chance on Suso, who has been linked with them in the past.

Paolo Maldini and Zvonomir Boban meanwhile want to bring a ‘real champion’ to Milanello, something which Isco is considered, the report continues.
