Real Madrid have performance a 180 degree turn regarding the future of striker Luka Jovic and now wish to keep him, a report claims.

The Rossoneri have been strongly linked with a move for the Serbia international in recent weeks, and Calciomercato.com reported that good relations between the Rossoneri and Real Madrid could see Milan land the Serbia international, in addition to his friendship with Luka Jovic.

SportMediaset reported on Saturday that Milan are ready to bid €35m+ for the former Benfica man, but it has been reported that Arsenal and Newcastle are in the running to land the 22-year-old, who has struggled since his €60m move to the Bernabeu last summer.

According to what is now being reported by Mundo Deportivo, Los Blancos have completely changed their stance on Jovic and instead are ready to keep him for at least another season.

Los Blancos believe in Jovic’s qualities and hope that the adaptation period will end soon, and Zinedine Zidane has even hinted at similar himself, stating: “He is the future, he must be calm and have patience because he is very good.”
