Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva is reportedly looking to end his career in LaLiga despite speculation regarding a return to AC Milan.
The Brazil international has entered the final three months of his contract with the Ligue 1 champions and a renewal does not appear to be on the cards, with sporting director Leonardo looking instead to the future.
We recently revealed via our mercato expert Vito Angele that Milan are considering the idea of reuniting Thiago Silva with Zlatan Ibrahimovic for next season, eight years after they departed Milano for the French capital.
Having made over 300 appearances for PSG, the veteran centre-back has no intentions of retiring, but Mundo Deportivo claim that he only has eyes for one club.
Although the 34-year-old is expected to have plenty of cash-rich offers on the table this summer from sides in China and even the MLS, the Catalan outlet claim it is his dream is to play in the same side as Lionel Messi before he calls it quits.
That therefore means that, providing any twists in the Argentine’s future between now and the start of next season, Thiago Silva wants to move to Barcelona and will reject any other offers.
