Tommaso Pobega is expected to return to AC Milan this summer, having impressed during his loan spell at Torino this season. However, the latter will not give up on the midfielder without a fight.
In January, Torino made an attempt to secure Pobega on a permanent basis and they have probed the ground numerous times since. Milan’s stance hasn’t changed one bit, however, as they believe a lot in the player.
According to a recent report from Corriere di Torino (via MilanNews), Torino are expected to make another attempt in the summer. One idea could be to ask for another loan, but the feeling is that Milan want him in the first team next season.
The 22-year-old just missed out on a spot in the first-team squad for this season but, in hindsight, it was the right decision to send him Torino. He has registered four goals and three assists for Il Toro in 31 appearances this season.
