Report: West Ham want Andre Silva to replace outgoing star

By Oliver Fisher -

West Ham United are targeting a move for AC Milan striker Andre Silva to replace Marko Arnautovic, a report claims.

Arnautovic completed a move to the Chinese Super League on Monday, meaning the Hammers are now scouring the market to try and replace the 14 combined goals and assists he managed in 28 Premier League games last season.

Now, a report from Football.London (via Calciomercato.com) suggests that they have set their sights on Andre Silva, who has just returned to Milan following an unsuccessful loan spell at Sevilla.

The Portugal international could find himself behind both Krzysztof Piątek and Patrick Cutrone in the pecking order next season, and recent reports have suggested he was offered to Wolves in a swap deal for Ruben Neves.

Silva managed nine goals in 27 LaLiga appearances last term, and is believed to carry a price tag roughly equal to the fee Sevilla
