AC Milan could still offer creative midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura a contract renewal, a report claims, despite the fact his exit seemed nailed on.
According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday (via MilanNews), Jack is a player held in high esteem by Stefano Pioli, so it is possible that there could be developments in the coming days and weeks.
A player that until a very short time ago seemed destined for farewell now has a chance of staying, the paper writes, while Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are also insistent that the door is not yet closed regarding a possible renewal despite Torino’s strong attempts to sign him.
Gianluca Di Marzio however reported on Monday night that Bonaventura’s time at the club is over. Milan held a meeting with his agent Mino Raiola but the 30-year-old midfielder was not discussed, meaning that the club are happy to let his six-year spell come to a conclusion.
