Reports: Ibrahimovic wants guarantee before making Milan return; Kessie set to be delayed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have called their players back to the city with a return to training on the horizon, but two players are not due back just yet.

Simon Kjaer, Asmir Begovic, Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Calhanoglu, Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer were all expected to land back in Milano on Monday.

On Tuesday, it will be the turn of other foreign players, such as Samu Castillejo, Rade Krunic, Lucas Paquetà and Ante Rebic, with the Italians are already present.

According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, (via MilanNews), Milan have set a dead line of Thursday for all players to land back in Italy, but Franck Kessié is having difficulty.

The Ivorian has apparently run into trouble organising the return from his home country as he has not yet managed to find a flight back, but the club have informed him that there is no concern, nor would there be consequences, in case of a delay.

Meanwhile, Sky Italia (via MilanNews) are reporting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s situation is to be monitored as the attacker would like the certainty of being able to train before returning.

The Rossoneri No.21 can train normally at the Hammarby sports centre in the mean time, and once he has the certainty of resuming training he will return to Milan without problems.
