Reports: Laxalt faces uncertain future – between Torino stay, Milan recall and Moscow move

By Oliver Fisher -

The future of Milan-owned defender Diego Laxalt is up in the air as we move towards Friday’s transfer deadline, reports claim.

With the window shutting at 8pm tomorrow, a number of clubs are scrambling to get their squads in the right shape for the second half of the season.

Milan face a quandary at left-back, with Ricardo Rodriguez currently in Eindhoven ready to complete a move to PSV on loan with option to buy.

That means that the Rossoneri are in the market for a new back-up to Theo Hernandez, and with a move for Club Nacional’s Matias Vina having fallen through on Thursday, other options are now being considered.

According to Di Marzio, Maldini and Boban are considering the idea of recalling Diego Laxalt from his loan spell at Torino so he can provide cover until June.

However, Calciomercato.com are reporting that Russian Premier League giants CSKA Moscow are keen on the Uruguay international, hinting they may yet make their own move.
