Reports: Why Lazetic was left out of Milan’s squad for Sampdoria – no injury

By Isak Möller -

Marko Lazetic was brought in by AC Milan during the January transfer window and he’s yet to make his debut for the club. He was on the bench against Inter and Lazio, but he won’t be today.

Stefano Pioli decided to leave the Serbian youngster out of the squad for today’s game against Sampdoria. As reported by MilanNews, he’s carrying out a personalised program in training and that’s why he was left out.

Daniele Longo added that he isn’t injured, but rather Milan have put him on a program to get him into the best condition possible. He will have to wait a little longer for his debut, therefore, but there are no injury concerns.

You can take a look at the full details about Milan’s starting XI here. Alessandro Florenzi will be playing in a makeshift role on the left as Theo Hernandez is suspended, while Franck Kessie has been dropped/given some rest.
