Reports: Milan initiate contacts with Bologna over signing of talented midfielder

By Isak Möller -

Milan are always looking to sign promising players and their scouting network seems to have picked up a Serie A player. As per multiple reports, the Rossoneri are interested in signing Jerdy Schouten.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com broke the news, stating that Milan have followed Schouten for quite some time now. In fact, they have even initiated contacts with Bologna as the midfielder has impressed the management lately.

Atalanta and a few English clubs are also interested, which is why Milan are trying to accelerate the negotiations. Gianluca Di Marzio has also confirmed the reports, adding that Bologna are yet to decide if they want to sell the player.

It’s clear that the Rossoneri want to move quickly on the market, just like they did with Mike Maignan, and we can expect to see a few more signings this summer. And that is indeed needed, amidst the return to Champions League.

    1. Yes bro…Tonali might be sacrificed for him. We need to pay 25 Mil more for Tonali who is still growing while we can snap Schouten in 15 Mil or so. For a player who has stats almost equal to Kessie in terms of KMs covered, Successful Tackles, Interceptions, Successful Passes & disciplinary record.
