Theo Hernandez sustained an injury in Milan’s defeat to Napoli and his condition will be assessed at Milanello today. It would be a blow for the Rossoneri to lose him for a longer period, but there is optimism.
The left-back did really well against Napoli, registering an assist, and he was set to take part in international duty with Napoli this week. However, he has returned to Milanello after suffering from adductor pain.

According to Corriere Della Sera and Tuttosport (via MilanNews), his condition will be evaluated through a series of tests later today. However, optimism has filtered from the medical staff and he could perhaps be ready for the Empoli clash.
Indeed, it would be a huge relief to have him back that early even if Milan should be able to beat Empoli with Fode Ballo-Toure at left-back. The latest indication suggests that, after all, Theo only returned to Milano as a precaution.
