By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Brescia remain in talks over Sandro Tonali but have not yet found an agreement regarding the midfielder, reports claim.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Italy international has technically returned to Brescia after the Rossoneri’s failure to exercise their option to buy before the deadline agree as part of last year’s deal, which was a €10m loan with €15m option and €10m in potential bonuses, plus a percentage of future resale.

The paper adds that the Milan management are working to find an agreement with Brescia president Massimo Cellino. It will take time, but the deal can is expected to go through mainly because the player is pushing to remain at Milan too.

Meanwhile, il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan are working to unblock the deal with Brescia and while the dialogue between the parties is constant, there is a stand-by phase at present because the figures offered by the Rossoneri do not match the requests of Cellino.

  1. I have been an AC Milan fan but in my personal opinion AC Milan is a big joke. They won’t pay more than 30 million for a player. Instead of building on what they have. They keep starting from Scratch. They want to follow Liverpool model but it isn’t how it’s done, management refused to invest in quality. If we want to keep fighting for UCL we are going to need quality and it doesn’t come cheap. This season was the best we have since the last scudetto. I won’t be surprised if we get knocked out group stage and not qualified the following season
